The 12 Pillars of Powerful Prayer
Prayer connects you directly with God. No internet required. He dwells as close as your heartbeat. “The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)
Foundation (Who You Are)
- Rest in Christ’s righteousness – Your standing, not your performance, grants access
- Immerse in God’s Word – Scripture fuels faith and reveals His will
- Cultivate gratitude and worship – Thanksgiving opens Heaven’s gates
Focus (What You Seek)
- Anchor requests in Scripture – God’s promises become your prayer platform
- Pray specifically – Vague prayers yield vague results
- Believe wholeheartedly – Faith unlocks divine resources
Discipline (How You Live)
- Guard your words – Your tongue shapes your spiritual atmosphere
- Persist patiently – God’s timing perfects His purposes
- Pray in the Spirit – Let Heaven’s language flow through you
Community (How You Connect)
- Unite with fellow believers – Corporate prayer multiplies spiritual impact
- Consecrate yourself wholly – Surrender deepens divine partnership
- Listen and obey instantly – Response determines relationship depth
Prayer is a Heart Connection
Prayer transcends formula. Following these principles provides structure for engaging in an intimate conversation with your loving Father. Like any relationship, closeness grows through consistent, honest communication.
Share your dreams. Voice your fears. Express your love. This daily dialogue transforms both your perspective and your power.
Your Kingdom Authority
As God’s child, you wield supernatural authority. This privilege demands responsibility. You stand positioned to:
- Advance God’s Kingdom through strategic intercession
- Bind evil’s influence in Jesus’ name
- Release Heaven’s resources into earthly situations
- Partner with angels in divine assignments
Your prayers either limit or liberate God’s work in this world. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
Your mission
Obedience to the Commandment
To love the Lord thy God with all thy heart is to proclaim the Gospel, the good news that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Saviour. And to love the people of all languages as Christ loved you is to make them fellow disciples of Christ.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17-18)
So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
(Romans 1:15-17)
